My Approach to Helping
I feel that the therapeutic relationship is the core of each therapy. Here issues that the client struggles with are likely to play out, giving the therapist the opportunity to provide feedback or interventions that may assist the patient in understanding his pattern of relating to others. A client may have failed to solve a problem in the past as heshe is trying solutions that are ultimately "more of the same". In therapy, the client may learn to find all together different approaches to his problems and thus might solve it as he leaves his previous framework to problem solution.
