My Approach to Helping
I am a multi-state-licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with almost a decade of experience and while I’m based in New England, I am licensed in multiple states (MA, NY, TN, FL, NH) and meet via telehealth for your convenience. I strive to be warm, validating, and honest, helping you rediscover your values, and find joy in your identity. My approach is relaxed and honest, light-hearted but serious when needs must, and I’m a real person with a real life who also happens to be a therapist — not a stiff AI projection of a “therapist” like you see on TV. I really enjoy helping people, just like you, who feel burnt out, anxious, overwhelmed, and sick of the life they’ve found themselves living. You might be looking for some anxiety coping skills, ways to get out of that soul-crushing job, identity exploration, or need someone to just listen as you verbally process through something. Many of my clients also self-identify as perfectionistic, type-A, overcontrolled andor achievement-driven.
More personally, I’m a sucker for the color blue, SNL cast members breaking character, a super laminated croissant, and a bouquet of fresh flowers in my kitchen. I’m a proud elder millennial and I love a good pun. If we work together, you’re more than likely to meet my golden retriever, Teddy, who is the absolute goodest boy imaginable (and no, i’m not biased — I only used peer-reviewed methodologies in my practice ;).
