My Approach to Helping
Do you need professional feedback and guidance with various stressors, life changes, or behavioral health needs? Do you need to learn skills to manage a variety of mental health symptoms? Do you need someone to talk to or receive therapeutic support from? Have you experienced a trauma, a loss, or a dysfunction of any kind that impacted you? Life is full of stressors and transitional moments based on the complexity of everyday life. I provide assistance to those who are on a therapeutic journey to achieve optimal mental, physical, or even spiritual wellness. In 2016, I graduated with my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, and I have been working as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) for seven years.
I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and in Milwaukee, WI, I worked as a therapist at Advocate Aurora Health, a statewide healthcare system throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. Advocate Aurora Health provides every kind of healthcare imaginable, from northern Wisconsin to the south, and it also exists throughout Illinois. I started working at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital in 2016, where I worked for three years. Throughout my time at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital, I was a lead program psychotherapist for the intensive outpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization programs, where I initiated Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) and mental health counseling programs. In 2019, I began working as an outpatient therapist and have been doing it ever since. Based on my passion, I will work with you to help individuals with psychological difficulties and behavioral health needs. My approach to therapy is to establish longer-term relationships with patients to create a cathartic space for therapeutic healing, personal growth, and motivation for change. I am honored to help those committed to achieving success with their treatment goals.
