My Approach to Helping
In addition to being a mental health practitioner, I am also licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. For the past 8 years I have worked with individuals from birth to adults and have experience working with families and clients with issues ranging from neuro-divergence, attachment issues, sensory processing disorders and clients with dual-diagnoses. I offer an integrative approach of humanistic and person-centered, psychodynamic and strength-based interventions.
I have training within trauma-informed care, mind and body connection, reflex integration that impacts our self-regulation and emotions, along with understanding our interoception system. I have worked with a variety of communication styles and I am in tune with non verbal language and emotions.
