Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I can help with presenting issues associated with anxiety and depression. If you are indecisive, I can help you with making decisions. If you are boggled down with excessive worrying, I can help you release the shackles and come to a place of freedom. If asserting healthy boundaries is a struggle for you, I can help with this. If you are feeling distant from your partner or spouse, I can help you both reconnect. If you and your spouse have unhealthy fighting patterns, I can help you both replace them with effective communication.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I have always loved listening and learning about the lives of others around me. I understand that you are in a vulnerable place the first time you meet me, yet, you are willing and open to sharing your current circumstances and entrusting me to help you with your journey. Encouraging, empowering, and inspiring you to grow and heal is a true privilege for me. It is an honor to work with you and watch you overcome challenges and establish healthier boundaries.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
We are human and none of us are perfect. At some point, the stress and circumstances can become so overwhelming that we reach a breaking point. You are not broken, weak, or flawed for reaching out for help. In fact, I recognize and appreciate the strength and courage it takes to acknowledge there is a problem and show up to my office ready to talk about it. If you are sick, you would reach out to a doctor. If you are not feeling well emotionally, it is ok to reach out to a therapist.
