My Approach to Helping
With skilled and sensitive guidance, my sessions encourage deep yet gentle exploration and adjustment, so that you can tune in. I make sure to create a calm, clear and inviting space for your nervous system to relax and allow work.
My work is grounded in Jungian psychoanalysis and is intuitively drawn to the underlying and usually unconscious pulls beneath our behavior and emotional reactions. The wisdom of this underneath layer of influence, for me, is most often spoken by the body, and I work with clients to slow down, ground, and in that safety begin exploring what messages are being spoken by the body and Psyche. Where are the kinks? Where are the stresses? Which way is relief, where is support needed? These dynamics can be worked with in the physical body, but their parallel dynamics in the Psyche can hold tight unless consciously addressed.
Working with compassion and curiosity, we can untangle unconscious habits and obstacles that have blocked resolution, integration and progress toward authentic, Resonant living.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I enjoy working with people who are looking to empower and express themselves more fully. This process often involves exploring feelings of shame and self judgment, anxieties, and old messages that hinder self worth and self love.
I specialize in somatically oriented depth psychological counseling, including dreamwork and guided imagery work. These modalities can be especially useful in untangling tense anxiety and allowing for more movement and levity in day to day life.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
One of the most courageous and honest intentions we can have, in my view, is that of Growth. Having the integrity to admit we may not have perfect clarity and potency at all times is actually very sane and strong. I find that often times there are these paradoxes in most things regarding the psyche; for example, it takes a lot of courage to admit that we're afraid. Going to therapy often indicates that you are ready to grow and move.
