My Approach to Helping
I am an LCSW with 22 years of experience conducting individual and group therapy with a variety of clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship and parenting issues, teen concerns, and a wide range of challenges including griefloss, insomnia, addiction, abuse, as well as personal growth, adjustment issues, and crisis. I have experience working with students in the school system, as well as working with people in crisis situations and survivors of suicide. I use a solution-focused approach to help clients determine the best way to solve their problems in the most efficient way. I work with couples and have completed the Level 1 Gottman Approach Training in couples therapy. Many times, we just need a fresh perspective and a different way of thinking to approach problems.
