My Approach to Helping

I would love to set up an initial phone consultation to connect and see if we could begin our therapeutic journey together!

The ever-changing circumstances and obstacles throughout our lives may be overwhelming and difficult to overcome. Therefore, seeking guidance for self-discovery, life transitions or managing your mental health concerns can be a difficult decision. It is important to have a safe and non-judgmental place to explore your inner thoughts and behaviors. Engagement in therapy will facilitate one’s achievements of their goals and new way of living. By taking this first step you will increase your sense of personal control, learn new skills, and enhance your overall well-being.

My career in behavioral health began in 2016, by helping facilitate groups for women who have experienced trauma. My work experience has allowed me to interact within the scope of several settings (community, inpatient, juvenile detention, and residential). This has enabled me to work with a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, couples and families.

As an individual who is proud of their own heritage, it has ingrained a value to be respectful and non-judgmental of others and the unique path one’s life undoubtedly can take. When I am not at work, I invest in my own self-care through my love for fitness and spending time with my family and friends.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
