My Approach to Helping
"""Change is painful, but nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don't belong."" - Mandy Hale. Counseling is not an easy journey to take, but when you put the work and effort into making changes in your life, you can become successful. I enjoy helping others on this journey of finding themselves. I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Counseling in 2013 from Bellevue University in Omaha, NE. I received my licensure (LPC) in 2019 in Arizona and in 2022 in Missouri. My career has given me the opportunities to work in various settings at different levels. I began working with families and children and then was able to work with teens and adults in a Community Mental Health setting. My work has included utilizing CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, and Solution-Focused therapies. My focus has been on helping young adults, adults, and families work through issues that are important to them. Change is not an easy thing to accomplish, but it will help improve your life. Together, we can work for this change to help you empower yourself and meet your needs."
