My Approach to Helping
Originally hailing from North Dakota, I was raised in a military household within a tight-knit rural community. Upon completing high school, I embarked on a journey to Nashville in 2018. I pursued my passion for the life sciences at Belmont University, earning my Bachelor of Science in Biology. For the past two years, I have served as a dedicated patient care technician in middle Tennessee, gaining invaluable experience working with a diverse array of individuals. Drawing from this enriching background, I have embarked on my next academic pursuit.
I am currently undertaking studies for my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. Motivated by a person-centered therapy approach, I strive to establish genuine connections with each client, meeting them at their specific stage in the mental health spectrum.
My genuine desire to understand individuals on a profound level underscores my commitment to guiding them through their counseling journey authentically. Passionate about advocating for women's issues and supporting veterans and military families, I aspire to leverage my expertise and empathy to make a meaningful impact in their lives.
