Shelby is also a certified end-of-life practitioner and a certified life coach through the Life Coach Institute. Additionally, she has received training in Ketamine-assisted Therapy from the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI).

Starting as a single mother of two, Shelby initially built her career as a teacher, gaining experience in physical education, health, first-grade education, and reading interventions. Over time, she recognized that mental health was a crucial yet often overlooked component of the educational model, which inspired her to transition into the counseling field. Shelby’s own healing journey has deepened her empathy and understanding, enabling her to support others with authenticity and compassion.
