My Approach to Helping

Due to my own experience of ADHD and anxiety, I’ve been where you are — I know how hard it can be. I work with people who struggle to navigate major life changes, stress, lack of focus, or low self-esteem. I use an integrative approach that’s tailored to your needs, including Expressive Arts and other evidence-based methods. My therapeutic style is relaxed, intentional, and creative. I’ll take the time to get to know you and understand your strengths. Together we'll identify practical ways to manage difficult emotions and bring more ease to your life. I offer in-person counseling in Brentwood and Franklin, convenient to Nashville, Thompson’s Station, and Spring Hill. Telehealth (online counseling) is also available for adults residing anywhere in Tennessee. Our offices are accessible to people with limited mobility. As an LGBTQIA+ ally, we have all-gender restrooms. I invite you to take whatever time you need to decide what’s next for you. Meanwhile, I’d be happy to arrange a phone consultation to talk about your fears, questions, and hopes for the therapy process. Whenever you’re ready, I’m here to support you in building a more confident and fulfilling life.

More Info About My Practice

Before I discovered my passion for counseling, I worked in the music industry and was pursuing a career as a musical artist here in Nashville. I also struggled with significant anxiety and ADHD. Through growing and learning how to cope with my challenges in my own therapy, I realized I wanted to help others in the same way that my therapist had helped me. I have experienced first hand the pain that mental health challenges can bring and how impactful therapy can be. After graduating from Lipscomb, I worked as a school based contract counselor in the Nolensville and Thompson’s Station communities. I learned so much from my work with elementary, middle and high school students with a variety of issues, backgrounds and personalities. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy going on adventures with my wife and our sweet rescue dog, hanging with friends and family, going to concerts, hiking, golfing, playing guitar and cooking.
