My Approach to Helping

I see clients virtually through Sondermind.

I have worked with adult and adolescent clients in community mental health, and in private practice settings. I am part of, and feel honored to serve, members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community. I work from a feminist psychodynamic, trauma-informed and harm reduction perspective. I value the therapeutic relationship and believe it to be vital to the process of change.

More Info About My Practice

I have experience working with clients navigating mood and anxiety disorders and posttraumatic stress. I have a great deal of passion for working with folks who have experienced spiritual, sexual, emotional andor physical trauma. I also enjoy working with parents and caregivers.
I look forward to hearing from you. Please reach out and we can schedule a short meeting to learn about each other and see if it would be a good therapeutic fit.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I decided to become a therapist after having a great experience as a client. I truly fell in love with the therapeutic process and the changes it enabled. I decided this is what I want to do, to share the therapeutic experiences with clients and be able to support folks through their own growth and change.
