My Approach to Helping
Hello, I have over 30 years of experience in a wide range of settings, populations, and age groups. I enjoy working with issues such as LGBTQIA+ matters, including gender identity and the coming out process, mood disorders, and health and wellness. I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan, from toddlers through geriatric patients, in many different settings. At this time, I am working with adults ages 18 and older, primarily in individual therapy. My approach is Person-Centered along with motivational interviewing, and at times, techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy or mindfulness therapy as a supplement. This means that I meet you where you are to partner with you and help you create the change you are seeking in your life. I firmly believe we all strive toward positive growth when given the opportunity.
