My Approach to Helping
I believe in meeting every client where they are and going the extra mile to build strong and trusting relationships. I am dedicated to individualized, client-driven therapy, recognizing that every person is different and moves through the world uniquely. I strive to work collaboratively with each client to address their specific wants and needs, tailoring each approach to fit them best.
I graduated with my MSW and a certificate in trauma from Simmons University. My main areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, depression, and life changes. I have a background working with children and families with intense traumatic experiences. Currently, I am working with clients ages 5-24. I take pride in working alongside children and young adults to give them the skills they need to learn and grow. I utilize a variety of interventions, including TF-CBT, attachment theory, mindfulness, somatic process, active listening, motivational interviewing, grounding, and psycho-education.
Living in this world can be challenging, and my goal is to help clients find their own ways to make it easier. I work alongside them, letting them guide the direction of therapy. I am dedicated to creating a strong therapeutic relationship and invite clients to schedule a consultation to see if I am a good fit or to inquire further about my services.
