My Approach to Helping
Relational counselling involves a unique skillset and knowledge base which I have specialized in. What may seem exceptionally confusing and painful can be understood, healed, and have new tools applied to help move forward with clarity and confidence.
Relational concerns can be overwhelming, resulting in deep hurt, uncertainty and distancing. However, It is possible to have better, healthier, loving relationships! I work with you to help you understand your roles, interactions, disconnects, how argument escalation happens, and then provide you with tools for your triggers and communication breakdowns. Relating is a "learned process". We can learn to turn toward, not against or away from one another and have connection again!
In individual therapy I empathically address anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, and depression. There are specific road maps to follow to come back from burnout, grief and depression which you will learn and use toward complete healing. Anxiety also can be understood - where it comes from, how it works and you can use new tools to manage and live calmly. Anxiety does not have to prevent you from living a life of peace and joy.
