My Approach to Helping

I am a supportive nonjudgmental therapist. I create a safe space by validating your feelings and helping you see the greatness within.

I want to make therapy less intimidating. I strive to create an open nonjudgmental space during sessions. I like to center my clients and will often ask for feedback to ensure their needs are being met. I hope you will feel supported and validated during our sessions.

While working with different communities, I consistently saw that there was a huge gap in mental health services. Additionally, people that were connected to mental health services were dissatisfied with the lack of diversity and accessibility in the field. I decided to become a therapist to help fill some of that gap.

More Info About My Practice

As the eldest daughter of an immigrant family, I have always been aware of the mental health issues that underrepresented communities face. I think mental health should be accessible to everyone. For that reason, I am very passionate about working with underrepresented and vulnerable communities. During my time in graduate school, I would provide free therapy to immigrants who did not have access to insurance. I value giving back to my community, and I think community plays an important role in the healing process. Community support allows us to feel less alone and gives us purpose and motivation.
