My Approach to Helping

Making a decision to start therapy can seem like an overwhelming task. Therapy involves a decision to embark on a journey of vulnerability and an atmosphere of sharing. I appreciate the steps you have taken to begin this journey and offer an environment of deep respect and a sacred space to feel valued and accepted. I provide therapy for individual therapy, child therapy, adolescents, and teens therapy, Couples therapy, Family therapy and group therapy.

With over 12 years of experience working with individuals, families, couples and children. I have deepened my understanding of human conditions and helped collaboratively construct effective pathways to healing. I have a deep desire to contribute to our world through helping others recognize their unique contribution. I became a therapist to take this journey of healing, empathy, and sincere interest in order to share time with others in need of support. I am genuine and authentic and desire for you to have the safety and comfort necessary to navigate through your challenges, depression, relational issues, fears and anxiety, emotional pain, past trauma, maladaptive behaviors, past experience, and current stressors in order to live a more fulfilling life.

When you are in session with me, you can be assured I will be actively invested in who you are and where you have come from, so as to illuminate your true self and to acknowledge your innate gifts. I will ensure an environment of trust and sensitivity to your individual need, so you can explore your potentials for growth and devise effective means to move towards your desired goals. While working in therapy, you will come to understand how your unconscious beliefs and repressed emotions and experiences may have directly contributed to current patterns of behavior and ways of interacting with others that have left you feeling depleted and unfulfilled. I use direct communication and gently challenge you to reach into your inner world and discover what you need. You will both investigate your inner feelings, and you will learn to respect these feelings. I work with you collaboratively to help you recognize your strength and incorporate self acceptance so as to achieve the gift of your highest self.
