I have had a true passion for working with children, adolescents, and adults for over 3 decades. I provide a person-centered, strength-based collaborative environment and believe in working as a team with you, as a partner, providing both support and encouragement on the challenging path to start feeling better individually and learning more effective ways to manage the challenges families face in today’s world.
With over 35+ years of clinical experience working with children as young as 6 and their families and in 2 different school systems including alternative behavior schools focusing on counseling and behavior management.
Having extensive experience in Mental Health Centers and Outpatient programs as well, I have helped children and adults process their trauma, anxiety and depression, family systems issues concerns, and parental discord. I was State Certified in working with the BIP (Batterers Intervention Program)- Duluth Model. This helps bring a more complete understanding of the dynamics of power and control in domestic violence relationships in relation to the abuser.
