My Approach to Helping
Welcome, I am so glad you are here! Does your inner voice sound like constant chatter pointing out mistakes, flaws, and worse case scenarios? Are you stuck on a loop of worry and negative self talk? Living with anxiety can feel like being on a carousel of nonstop thoughts. Life can be difficult when we feel this way. You don't have to stay trapped in your own head. You can reach out to me and together we can unpack these thoughts, get acquainted with emotions, and learn tools to consciously respond to life's challenges.
I help others better understand themselves by unpacking beliefs and patterns that impact how they view life. We greet emotions with compassion and curiosity. We explore how life experiences shaped who you are today. Together, we can change your relationship with the past so you are no longer held back by old experiences and versions of you.
My therapy style is influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS) "parts work" (completed IFS level 1), psychodynamic, insight oriented, and person centered. You are your own healer.
