Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I LOVE to work with women in transition, I find it fulfilling to reach down deep and remind you of how special and sacred you are and how to develop appropriate boundaries around that sense of worth. Most therapists come to this work to help others because someone helped them and we want to pass that strength and resilience along. I am fortunate to have learned from my life experiences and have a wide knowledge base from which to draw.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy helps us by validating our feelings and experiences and helping us to cope and grow in the present. We can acknowledge the pain from the past and find a sense of peace and hope for the future. A gifted therapist acts as a companion on this journey helping you to develop insight and improve judgement and focus in areas that are difficult for you.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

The purpose of Psychotherapy is to bring out the best YOU which is hidden inside.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I LOVE being a therapist because it allows me to spend most of my time on improving human relations in a sacred setting. I consider the therapeutic space to be sacred and our bond to be absolute. As a therapist I go with others on their voyage of self-discovery help them to be their best and most authentic self.

My Role as a Therapist

The right therapist brings training, education and skill in a combined effort to discern emotional blockages and work with you to remove those blockages causing harm or despair in your life.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

The therapeutic relationship is like finding a mate, it is a combination of chemistry, skill and experience. Therapy is supposed to help you and make you feel better, if one provider does not meet your needs, feel confident in sharing why with your new provider, this will deepen the therapeutic relationship and lead to open and honest communication.
