My Approach to Helping
Are you in a marriage where you feel emotionally unfulfilled? Have you been betrayed by your spouse's behavior through either their actions or their lack of actions to meet the needs that you have? Have you communicated until you are blue in the face with the hope of change for nothing to get better? Have you asked for couples counseling over and over while your spouse refuses to meet you halfway?
If you said yes to any of these things, I know how exhausted and frustrated you probably are. Marriage can be one of the most difficult feats any of us take on. The good thing is if you are looking for help; you are making the first step in being able to move forward with your life. One thing I often tell my clients is that we cannot control someone else, but we can affect them.
Over my ten years of working with women and men in difficult marriages, I have seen the power one person in the relationship seeking out help can have on themselves and their marriage. I come from a system's perspective where I attempt to look at the dynamics at play in the relationship in order to find areas where change can be interjected while increasing emotional intimacy and an overall improved view of your spouse. I would love to be the person to walk with you through this process of reclaiming the power you have in your marriage and your life!
