My Approach to Helping
In our lives, we all desire connection, confidence, and ease - sometimes we just need some help reaching our goals. I help individuals struggling with body image, disordered eating, relationships, and anxiety to learn skills and feel empowered in their lives. My style is warm, authentic, and collaborative. I hold space for you to bring your truest self, guide you to allow your insight to blossom, and help you build skills to live your fullest life. I recognize each person is different and tailor my therapeutic approach to fit your needs. To do this, I utilize multiple therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, feminist theory, attachment, and mindfulness, to support you in your individual goals. Additionally, I utilize a Health at Every Size (HAES®) and body liberation informed framework throughout my practice. Our client-therapist relationship is truly important in the therapeutic process and I work to create a safe and nonjudgemental therapeutic space to support your healing and growth.
