My Approach to Helping

Hello and welcome! You’ve taken a courageous step and are looking for help. If you’re frustrated in your relationships, therapy may help you understand the story behind your challenges. Psychotherapy is a place where you can unpack the relational roots to why you are struggling. Whether it be depression, anxiety, or deep regret, there is hope. Intimate relationships can bring out our assets as well as our liabilities. From codependency to heightened anxiety and impatience, we will figure it out together. My approach is to co-create a game plan to help you leave better equipped to navigate the intricacies of close relationships. I am empathic and compassionately direct. My passion is to help individuals increase their conflict resolution skills, as well as establish healthy boundaries. Years ago, one of my supervisors asked me,” Have you done your own therapy?” My response was” No”. He said that we can only take our clients as far as we’ve gone in our therapy. And so began my years of impacting my story. Through my years of treatment and training, I believe I have the capacity to step into the shoes of my clients. It is a privilege.

Groups I Work With

I work with high-achieving men who excel in their careers and provide well for their families get struggle in the most intimate relationships, especially when it comes to conflict resolution. These men learned early on that independence was safer than reliance, that going solo was easier than depending on others. As a result, they build successful lives but often find themselves disconnected from their partners. Unsure how to bridge the emotional gap. In therapy, we work to shift from independence to interdependence, learning how to engage in conflict rather than avoid it, express needs without fear, and build relationships that feel both strong and connected. If this resonates with you, let’s start the conversation.

I also worked with strong, caring, and loving women who struggle with setting boundaries. They took on more than their fair share, doing for others what others should do for themselves, often at the expense of their own well-being. This pattern, commonly known as codependency, can leave them feeling depleted, unappreciated, and disconnected from their own needs. In our work together, I help women reclaim the parts of themselves they have relinquished, rebuild their confidence, and step into their full empowerment without guilt. If you’re ready to break free of these patterns and create healthier, more balanced relationships, please give me a call.
