My Approach to Helping

Offering a safe environment for honesty, authenticity, and vulnerability, I meet you where you are while supporting you in achieving your goals, recognizing your worth and learning how you can take up space. While challenging you in ways that may feel uncomfortable you will begin to see how strong you are and experience the healing process.

I am passionate about social work and want to help those whom society has pushed aside. No matter who you are or what you believe in, you are valuable and are allowed to take up space. Together we will learn to build trusting relationships that can help you grow.

More Info About My Practice

As a white woman growing up in the United States, I have been afforded many privileges simply due to the color of my skin. Because of this, I have made a conscious effort to continuously educate myself, practice constant self-reflection, and center social justice in my personal as well as professional life. I grew up in a family that has always underscored the importance of speaking up and fighting for the rights of everyone. I have volunteered for Planned Parenthood since I was in high school and am honored to have attended many protests, marches, and rallies in support of women's reproductive rights. One of the driving forces that led me to pursue a career in social work was the uprising of the many social justice movements that gained traction in the last few years. I have always focused on social justice and will continue to do so within my therapeutic practice.
