My Approach to Helping
I started my career in business utilizing my MBA in Management. I have worked in sales, management, marketing, educational recruitment, career advising, and contracting for FEMA, traveling around the globe helping in disaster relief support. After many years of traveling the world, I decided to work toward enhancing my life. One way would be following a lifelong dream of becoming a therapist and helping others. I returned to school and received my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have found that working with individuals and couples to live their best lives and helping them work through life's challenges has brought me life satisfaction in my personal journey. The difference I have made in others by assisting them in improving their life journey has helped improve my own.
I use mixed methods to draw my approaches from vast theories practiced and customize our sessions to your unique needs and goals. There is no one size fits all therapy, and I fully believe I am not here to just be a good listener, but here to help accomplish counseling goals and get stuff done! Thomas Edison stated, "Heck, there are no rules here, we're trying to accomplish something." You are also in a judgment-free zone; as long as you're not hurting yourself, others or someone is hurting you, you have complete confidentiality with no fear of being judged, no matter what!
