My Approach to Helping

I understand that taking the first step towards therapy can be daunting and confusing. You have come this far and that is a courageous thing!
You might be wondering where to go from here and what this whole process means. To keep it simple, I hope to offer a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly and without fear of judgement. I hope to be a mirror that shows you your strengths and helps you face the parts of you that you might be afraid to show the world. In my work, I believe in the power of connection and compassion and the tremendous value of cultivating inner strength and resilience. We aim to get comfortable with uncomfortable here.
Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness and somatic techniques, we will work together to ensure your unique needs are addressed. I will utilize therapy interventions like trauma-informed approaches, ACT, CBT, and DBT which I have extensive trainings in. I am currently specializing in the treatment of OCD under the supervision of Sara Vicendese LMFT, and hope to enhance our work with an integrative approach including exposure therapy with response prevention (ERP).
I have treated adults and adolescents facing a wide variety of mental health challenges including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and relationship issues.
