My Approach to Helping

My therapeutic style is grounded in Gestalt Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. I create an emotionally safe environment to explore life concerns and struggles while identifying strengths. I tailor treatments to your strengths, assist with exploring your automatic assumptions, and encourage exploration of your self-awareness to increase sustained meaningful change. I provide a collaborative environment and emotional attunement as we explore your internal beliefs & strengthen your understanding of yourself.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Seeking and attending therapy does not mean you are weak or "crazy". It is a way for you to explore your experiences and situations that might not be working for you in your everyday life. The therapy room is a place when you can explore your emotions, behaviors, and conflicts without judgments, shame, and societal pressure to conform. It is a privilege to be with my clients while assisting with the exploration of their processes.
