My Approach to Helping
Whether facing life balance struggles, parentingrelationship conflicts, battling symptoms of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or just general issues; it is my belief that connecting with someone outside of your inner circle can be greatly beneficial. Life is ever changing and change can be difficult. I believe in working collaboratively with each person to identify needs, create goals, and make progress towards those goals. Working together, we can move forward in creating improvement in mind, body, and general well being.
More Info About My Practice
I am currently accepting new clients from ages 5-65. I see individuals, couples, families, and will run groupsworkshops from time to time.
What I Usually Need to Know to Help
Some therapists focus solely on the past, the present, or the future. It is my belief that there are connections between all three areas of life. Making those connections can help in healing wounds while propelling forward to finding the inner strength that may be needed for growth. While I will never require anyone to share what they may not yet be comfortable with at all, these are areas that may be beneficial in the therapeutic process.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
I truly believe that every single human could benefit from therapy. This is why I am passionate about it. Whether there is a mental health diagnosis or not, people deal with some level of stress on a daily basis. There are different phases of life and transition can be difficult, for anyone... Having an additional support in life, outside of the inner circle, can never hurt.
