My Approach to Helping
I applaud you for taking this step to seek therapy. I imagine you are facing something right now that is painful, creating fear, or making you deeply sad. You may be seeking a listening ear to help make sense of the complexity of life. The relationship you have with your therapist can be a great support in better understanding yourself and finding the courage to take a deep look at your circumstances. I treasure the importance of this client-caregiver relationship and take the responsibility very seriously. Within my practice, I counsel those who are sad, anxious, and suffering from past trauma. I support those going through life transitions such as divorce, death, and illness. As a therapist, I challenge my clients to be vulnerable and look deeply into their issues, and together we can find solutions and healing.
