My Approach to Helping
Are you interested in personal growth? Do experiences from the past cause you pain today? Do you suffer from anxiety, substance abuse, or depression? Do you feel unseen, unheard, or unmotivated? In therapy, we can navigate difficult emotions, learn to recognize unhelpful patterns, gain new skills, and improve symptom management, among other things. I'm a justice-oriented person who cares about social issues, activism, and social justice. My approach is informed by recognizing power, privilege, oppression, and their impacts on culture and society. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for all races, ethnicities, gender expressions, sexual orientations, or spiritual-religious beliefs.
