My Approach to Helping
Let's be honest, the world is going to Hell in a handbasket, and if that includes your world, I can help you. I am a licensed master social worker, but I fancy myself a psychologist at heart. This unites the best of the two disciplines as social work focuses on fair and ethical treatment for all humanity, while psychology emphasizes behavioral and psychoanalytical skills. Both of which I confidently uphold, and define my career path by. I have experience with both group and individual therapy relating to anger management, opioids, cognitive behavioral therapy, family dynamics, 12 steps, and many others.
I truly believe I can help anyone. I believe God has gifted me with this ability of discernment, wisdom, and compassion to help you through the peaks and valleys of life. I have a unique perspective allowing me to instill a positive mental attitude using cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based means to equip us in the battle of the mind.
Mental health conditions are real, common, and treatable. Recovery is possible. You have already taken a huge first step in seeking help. I am excited about the opportunity to help you in your current state of life. While I do specialize in Christian counseling, I am dedicated to helping people across all different backgrounds.
