My Approach to Helping

Let's be honest, the world is going to Hell in a handbasket, and if that includes your world, I can help you. I am a licensed master social worker, but I fancy myself a psychologist at heart. This unites the best of the two disciplines as social work focuses on fair and ethical treatment for all humanity, while psychology emphasizes behavioral and psychoanalytical skills. Both of which I confidently uphold, and define my career path by. I have experience with both group and individual therapy relating to anger management, opioids, cognitive behavioral therapy, family dynamics, 12 steps, and many others.

I truly believe I can help anyone. I believe God has gifted me with this ability of discernment, wisdom, and compassion to help you through the peaks and valleys of life. I have a unique perspective allowing me to instill a positive mental attitude using cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based means to equip us in the battle of the mind.

Mental health conditions are real, common, and treatable. Recovery is possible. You have already taken a huge first step in seeking help. I am excited about the opportunity to help you in your current state of life. While I do specialize in Christian counseling, I am dedicated to helping people across all different backgrounds.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

The duration and frequency of therapy are important as they directly impact the journey toward healing and growth. Therapy isn't just about ticking off sessions on a calendar; it's a deeply personal experience that requires time and commitment. In the same way that Jesus walked alongside those in need, therapy offers a supportive presence on the path to emotional and spiritual healing. It's a sacred space where individuals can explore their struggles, seeking guidance and solace in the presence of a caring therapist. Just as Jesus urged his followers to love one another and offer forgiveness, therapy encourages individuals to extend grace to themselves and others, fostering growth and reconciliation. Whether it's a brief encounter or a longer journey, therapy embodies the Christian values of empathy, healing, and restoration, guiding individuals toward wholeness in body, mind, and spirit.
