My Approach to Helping
As a therapist who specializes in trauma, relationships, and sex, my work is focused on offering support to individuals and couples as they navigate personal and relational challenges. These challenges can include confronting the impact of trauma and sexual abuse, addressing relationship issues, and handling sex-related concerns within the context of coping with depression and anxiety. My approach is rooted in not only addressing individual concerns but also in enriching the dynamics of relationships. My commitment lies in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can openly express their thoughts and emotions, as they strive to deepen their self-awareness and understanding of their own needs and desires.
My therapeutic approach integrates trauma- and attachment-informed therapies, drawing from modalities such as EMDR, sex therapy, parts work, and somatic psychology. These techniques are tailored to address the unique concerns of individuals and couples.
I integrate somatic therapy and or sex therapy when needed to help clients better understand the connection between the mind and body and to address physical responses related to trauma, relationships, and intimacy. My aim is to offer consistent support in nurturing a more fulfilling and secure connection, promoting individual and mutual growth.
