My Approach to Helping
I work with individuals to address a variety of concerns including: anxiety, depression, trauma, self-criticism, and existential issues. My role is to create a safe, non-judgmental space to help you explore and overcome internal obstacles so you can make the positive changes you want in your life. My approach is warm, relational, and down to earth. I understand that your experience, strengths, and struggles are unique, therefore I tailor therapy sessions to meet your particular needs. Therapy with me tends to be a blend of depth-oriented talk therapy with mindfulness-based experiential processing. I pull from my training in Attachment Theory, AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Mindful Self-Compassion. While these theories inform my work, I respect your wisdom and value collaboration in sessions. You will always have a say in what feels most helpful to you in our work together.
