My Approach to Helping
I am a clinical psychologist focused on helping kids, teens, and families navigate challenges related to ADHD, social relationships, difficult emotions, and stress. I believe that with the right supportive environment of empathy, patience, and guidance, we can all grow through these challenges and emerge stronger than before. I offer therapy and testing services to facilitate this process of growth. I am currently providing these services remotely through telehealth, and I am able to offer remote testing for some presenting concerns, such as ADHD, emotional functioning, and disruptive behaviors.
I offer testing services to help you better understand yourself or your child and connect you to the resources that will be most helpful based on that understanding. My approach in therapy draws from multiple practices and is tailored to your strengths and needs. I use cognitive, behavioral, and relational approaches, but specialize in using mindfulness-based interventions to help build self-regulation skills and strengthen social relationships.
I also offer focused treatment packages aimed at helping individuals and families build skills to address specific challenges in a short period of time. These include coping with stress, time management and procrastination, and parent-child relationships building.
