My Approach to Helping
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington State (2013), California (2019), and Virginia (2020) to present. I have 30 years of social work experience. I can help with Child & Family Services, drug treatment and recovery, 12-step programs, and inpatient treatment from a Christian view. I specialize in Family Dynamics and high-risk relationships with high-risk families. I worked as a Military Family Life Consultant (MFLC) and also provided services as a VA therapist and social worker. I am certified as a YWCA Domestic Violence counselor. I use many modalities including Mindfulness, DBT, CBT, PTSD, and combat PTSD. I am fully trained and provide services for Military Sexual Trauma (MST), case management, and discharge planning. I developed many treatment programs and group curricula for therapeutic agencies that qualified for federal reimbursements. I was the Lead Admissions Forensic Social Worker in Washington State for Competency to Stand Trial as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I enjoy the support I provide to Children and Families with depression and anxiety, People in 12-Step recovery programs who are also Christian, Reunification services, Military Children & Families with PTSD in the family, Hospice, and Employee Assistance Professional (EAP).
