My Approach to Helping
I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques to help you manage anxiety, reduce depression, and overcome life’s challenges. But therapy is not just about techniques --- it’s about the connection we create together. By focusing on both your thoughts and emotions, we’ll work together to create lasting change. We’ll work to shift unhelpful thought patterns, build resilience, and help you find a sense of calm amidst the storm.
More Info About My Practice
As a proud mother of a young adult, I understand the ups and downs of life firsthand. Along with my Master’s in Social Work, I hold a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration, which fuels my passion for advocating for social justice and making a positive impact in communities.
In my free time, you’ll often find me singing karaoke, experimenting with new recipes, or diving into DIY projects. I’m a firm believer in the importance of self-care and encourage my clients to find what brings them joy. Volunteering at homeless shelters is close to my heart, and I’m passionate about giving back.
My Christian faith guides my compassionate approach to therapy, creating a warm, welcoming space where you can feel safe and supported. I value openness, respect, and genuine connection, and my goal is to help you navigate challenges and find your unique path to healing. Let’s work together toward a brighter, more fulfilling future!
