My Approach to Helping
I work with variety of issues and I specialize in couple therapy. I use an eclectic approach. My sessions are strictly tailored to the client’s personality, treatment needs, and goals. My focus is to restructure unproductive cognitions that create roadblocks to success and cause my clients to suffer. My extensive training allows me to use a variety of tools and methods that are mostly directed at promoting a healthy self-image and a positive mindset. My work with clients is focused on moving clients from the life they tolerate to the life they want.
Informal. I’m funny. I smile and laugh. Many of my clients made comments that I’m easy to talk to and they feel accepted and understood. I listen very carefully to your story so I can show you the solution. Your questions as “why it happened” or “why I think or act this way” will be explained to you. I will educate you how to use the right tools to become the “ideal you”, a person you want to be! Well, it was pretty easy for me. When I was 15 years old I noticed I would gravitate towards reading psychology and psychiatry books that my parents had in their library. One day as I remember clearly I stared at one page of a book I held in my hands and made a decision to become a counselor!
My goal is to educate you on how your mind works and what you are subconsciously looking for. I want to show you that therapy can surpass your expectations. I’m here to place you on the road you have been looking for. In the first session, we get to know each other! I pay full attention to listening and doing my observation. I would ask intake questions and gather some information while we discuss the issue you are dealing with.
