More Info About My Practice

My specialty is in addressing relationship and sexual problems, anxiety, and depression.
I am trained and experienced in helping couples with trust issues, infidelity, communication, and sexual concerns. My 20+ years of experience, certification in pre-marriage and marriage counseling with additional training by the Gottman institute of marriage and emotionally focused marriage therapy has well prepared me to help you and your partner spouse.

I have a successful track record in helping clients suffering from anxiety and depression. Working together with clients, they improve their mood, feel more focused and motivated (get unstuck), reduce worry, and manage stress better. Clients have improved their relationship with them-self and others and improve their overall well-being. There is hope for you to enjoy your life more.

I am an affirming advocate of the LGBTQ+ community. I am a member of ALGBTIC (Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues in Counseling) with training from WPATH (the World Professional Association for Transgender Health).

My Role as a Therapist

I strive to create a safe nonjudgmental space for all types of couples and individuals. My casual style of doing therapy is supportive, direct, and effective. I use only best practices and proven techniques to help clients heal from past pains, address present problems, and find hope for the future. I offer communication and coping skills and encourage healthy boundaries. I asked challenging questions to entice self-reflection and personal responsibility.
