My Approach to Helping
I like to help those who have been in therapy for years yet still suffering recurring depression, anxiety, or relationship problems. I have forty two years of clinical experience. I like to devote my time to serve those who need my expertise the most.
I am proficient in cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy, EMDR, Trauma Focus therapy, family system and many other techniques. What techniques the therapist is proficient in is important, what mental disorders heshe has experience in treating is important. But the uniqueness of my approach is my focus on you. How to use what you have to get you out of your dilemma. Psychiatrists attempted to find the correct diagnosis for you and then find a psychotropic medicine match that disorder. then heshe asks your weight, base on your weight, heshe prescribed you X mg of medicine.
In my therapy, I want to know you, your experience, your beliefs, your perceptions, your glory, your grievances and your pain, your peak and valley in your life, your relationship with your significant others, your relationship with your family of origin etc. I want to know you, I want to listen and understand you.
The feeling of being understood, very often, is the beginning of healing.
