My Approach to Helping
I have over fifteen years of experience ranging from dealing with clients who suffer from loss and grief, family issues, depression, and anxiety. I have worked with the family caregiver population, adolescents, and their parents/guardians and worked with people affected by illness in a medical setting. My expertise is in cognitive behavioral therapy; I use this theory to understand my clients' thoughts, behaviors, and feelings. I like to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for my clients as we work to change the problems they need help with. My best qualities are professionalism, friendliness, and compassion towards my clients. I am eager to find a solution to your needs and help you walk out of the session better than you came in.
