My Approach to Helping

My therapeutic style is warm, non-judgmental, and client-centered, prioritizing each individual's unique needs and experiences. I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered, which is essential for facilitating positive change. In our sessions, I focus on fostering open communication and trust, enabling clients to express their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Once we build this foundation, we can collaboratively move beyond immediate crises and address underlying issues with practical, actionable steps. Together, we’ll develop tailored strategies that empower clients to navigate challenges effectively, emphasizing a solutions-focused approach that encourages personal growth and resilience. By transforming difficulties into opportunities for learning, we can work towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.

More Info About My Practice

My background in behavioral health technology sales, podcasting, and personal experiences with mental health has provided me with a unique foundation of empathy and understanding that I bring to my work as a therapist. I am dedicated to continuous learning, drawing inspiration not only from my colleagues but also from my clients, as I believe in the importance of being a lifelong student. When I’m not podcasting or working as a therapist, you can find me running along the East River, taking long walks with my dog, Winky, or practicing yoga. I recently fulfilled a dream by completing my Yoga Teacher Training Certification in Bali, Indonesia, which has further enriched my approach to wellness, mental health, and spirituality.
