Hillside DBT is proud to offer outpatient Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapy and Theraplay® at the Medici building located in The Piazza at Paces. All of our clinicians are licensed and intensively trained in DBT. Our goal is to help our clients and their families thrive.

About Our Center

Hillside outpatient DBT clinic offers individual and family DBT therapy as well as DBT skills group for children, adolescents, young adults and parents. Our treatment is specialized for clients who have issues with adapting to change, experience extreme/intense emotions, struggle with impulsive behavior and mood regulation, and have difficulties with interpersonal relationships. In DBT, clients will learn to decrease undesirable target behaviors and increase healthy coping skills. We cover 5 modules in our DBT skills training: Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Walking the Middle Path (skills for families to end the power struggle.) Theraplay® is an experiential based therapy particularly appropriate for children and families who have difficulties feeling connected and feel out of sync in their interactions. Theraplay® enhances client's sense of self, provide opportunities for shared joy with others, improve affective and emotion regulations, and increase attunement with others.
