My Approach to Helping

I strive to bring my genuineness and my personal experience to my sessions. I want our work to be collaborative. I have a PhD in counseling but you are the specialist on you. I approach counseling from a Relational-Cultural perspective which is a feminist, multicultural lens that focuses on developing a positive relationship between the therapist and the client to help support the client in making positive changes in their life. This growth-fostering relationship can be used as a model to improve all other relationships in the client's life. This approach focuses on how to best support people. In a practical sense, I will be striving to create a positive connection with you.

More Info About My Practice

I have 9 years of experience as a mental health professional and I have worked in a variety of settings. I offer free initial consultations to determine if you and I will work well together. Groups I Work With

I am a queer polyamorous agender woman (she.any). I specialize in working with queer and trans people coping with anxiety, depression, and concerns of daily life. I am also polyamory friendly and ready to support people navigating non-monogamous and open relationships. I can help support and work to develop radical self-acceptance. I might be a good fit for you! My approach to counseling is collaborative, meaning that I hope to build a relationship with you so that we can tackle your goals together. For trans and gender-expansive clients, I am ready to write a letter of support in a single session even when I'm not taking new clients.
