My Approach to Helping
I work with individuals who are ready to experience greater freedom in their lives through therapy that gets to the root cause(s) of the stress, anxiety, depression, work and relationship problems and unhealthy habits.
Using a relational talk therapy setting, I offer clients an approach that is mind-body based (in current neurocognitive & neurobiological science), psychodynamic and Buddhist Psychology informed. I provide clients access to EMDR treatment and highly effective habit change techniques.
My work with clients often involves the processing of unresolved emotions, memories & trauma that keep so many stuck, living out a script of unwanted patterns of relating and behaving.
We all need trusted counsel, someone who can help us figure out which foot to first pull out of the tangled web we're in. I’ve worked in private practice, non-profit, and government settings, providing counseling and human service work for over 30 years.
